About 3 years ago my two dogs left us, one of "old-age" the second to cancer. I immediately decided to give a home to another that needs it and searched shelters, and the internet, for an elderly or handicapped (non-adoptables). Today, I'm a mom of TWO - one mixed greyhound rescued from euthanasia after being hit by a car and one black lab-belgium shepherd thrown at 1 month old under a building (black dogs are unwanted as well). They both filled the empty spot in my heart and reciprocate with glowing love and joy.

I hope you regain the same love and joy. Your Henry would surely want that.

Thank you for the Kipling's lovely poem.
